Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?
Cookies and similar technologies can store information on your device or help recognise a browser across visits. They can support essential site functionality and, where consent is provided, help us understand how visitors use the site.
Categories We Use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Core functionality, security and remembering your cookie preference. | Not optional where strictly necessary. |
| Analytics | Understanding page visits, journeys, conversions and website performance through tools such as Google Analytics and PostHog. | Optional; activated only after consent. |
| Behavioural analytics | Where enabled, understanding interactions such as clicks, scrolling, funnels or session behaviour to improve the site. | Optional; activated only after consent and only when the relevant tool is enabled. |
How Consent Works
Optional analytics are disabled by default. The cookie banner allows visitors to choose whether to enable optional analytics. Choosing Essential Only keeps optional analytics disabled. A visitor can change their choice by clearing their stored preference or using the site's cookie preference controls when provided.
Third-Party Services
The site may use third-party services such as Google Analytics, PostHog, Calendly, ConvertKit/Kit and Formspree for analytics, scheduling and lead capture. These services may process information according to their own policies and configuration. Optional analytics services are not intended to receive unnecessary sensitive information from assessment answers.
Personalisation
The site may use first-party, non-sensitive signals such as the page being viewed, campaign context or whether an assessment has been completed to make the next step more relevant. Personalisation should not be used to infer sensitive characteristics or create hidden profiles.
How to Manage Cookies
- Use the cookie banner to accept or reject optional analytics.
- Use browser settings to clear or block cookies.
- Contact Colin Miley if a cookie preference needs to be changed and no on-site control is available.
Changes
This policy will be updated when the site's analytics, behavioural tools or cookie categories change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
